This workshop provides Supervisors, Managers, RNs & EENs essential skills and practical guidelines needed to counsel staff, residents, and their families in order to maintain effective care environments.

Topics covered include: Building emotional intelligence; counselling frameworks; understanding grief and loss; communication; documentation; conflict resolution; performance management; reflective practice; counselling at the end of life; case conferencing; and best practice guidelines. This course has been endorsed by the RCNA and attracts 5 CNE points for annual registration.
