The RN Clinical Leadership and Mentoring Program delivered by Frontline Care Solutions is designed for team leaders to access the support and knowledge of an expert mentor, and to develop their own positive learning and mentoring regime. It guides team leaders along a structured pathway of mentoring and personal development that enables them to fully engage their clinical leadership role. 

Frontline has been running this program successfully with major Aged Care providers in Australia and it has produced dramatic improvements in the quality of care for clients and positive changes in the work environment for all staff.

The course was designed by Consultant Gerontologist Dr. Drew Dwyer - BASS, BSN, MClinSc, PhD, MACN, QMACA, CFJBI, Adv. Dip. Community Service Management (RACF), Dip. Health Counselling (Medical Register of Australia), TAE.

Drew is one of Australia’s leading consultants in clinical leadership and learning & development for the aged care sector. He has over 20 years experience as a professional nurse and educator. In 2013 Drew accepted an Associate Professorship at the University of Queensland of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work (UQSONMSW).

The program is intended to impart knowledge that assists the reflective practice of RN team leaders who work on the frontline of care. It has been designed to develop clinical leadership skills and positive learning in the RN.

The program provides RNs access to contemporary evidenced-based health care learning and takes them along a structured path of personal growth and professional development. Participants attend a series of live webinars (web-based seminars) that begin with introductory leadership skills and progress into scenario based learning with the mentor. Live sessions are complimented with recorded e-learning seminars, reflective practice and mentor feedback.
